Understanding what's staining your concrete

Grey concrete is rarely dirty concrete. Carbonation, mineral salts leaching to the surface, tannin from leaf litter, carbon from vehicles and colonies of mould all produce different discolouration that respond to different treatments.

We identify the cause first. Pressure alone on a mineral or biological stain gives you a wet stain — which is why some jobs need degreasers, others need a biocide, and others need hot water at low pressure.

Commercial and industrial concrete

Larger concrete assets bring compliance obligations. Waste water from a car park or loading dock contains hydrocarbons and heavy metals, and it cannot legally go to stormwater.

Our Clean & Capture system recovers waste water as we clean, and we can provide documentation for council, EPA-conscious property managers and food safety auditors. We also work nights and weekends so trading and access aren't interrupted.

Then keep it clean

Cleaned concrete can be sealed to resist oil and water penetration, and line marking can be reinstated afterwards on commercial sites. For assets that get heavy use, a scheduled quarterly or biannual clean costs far less over time than a periodic rescue job.
