Steam Pressure Cleaning Sydney
Steam cleaning is the answer to the jobs cold water simply can't do. Heat breaks the bond between grease, gum, oil and the surface underneath, which means we can remove heavy contamination at lower pressure — and lower pressure means less risk to the substrate.

Clean & Capture
Waste water recovery
It's the method we reach for on food premises, retail entries, sandstone, heritage brickwork, bin rooms and any surface where chewing gum and grease have become part of the finish.
Where steam outperforms high pressure
The rule of thumb: if it's greasy, sticky, sanitary or fragile, steam is usually the better tool.
- Chewing gum on retail footpaths, entries and plazas
- Kitchen exhaust areas, grease traps and bin rooms
- Food processing floors where sanitation matters
- Sandstone, heritage brick and soft masonry
- Graffiti shadowing and adhesive residue
- Oil and hydraulic contamination in workshops and docks
Less water, less mess, less risk
Steam uses a fraction of the water of cold high-pressure cleaning, which matters for water restrictions, indoor work and any site where run-off is difficult to control. Combined with our Clean & Capture recovery, it lets us clean indoors and in occupied buildings without flooding the place.
It also kills bacteria and mould spores through heat alone — useful where you'd rather not add more chemicals to the equation.
Sanitation without heavy chemicals
For childcare centres, aged care, medical facilities, gyms and food premises, steam gives a genuinely sanitised surface with minimal chemical residue. It's one of the reasons commercial clients with audit requirements ask for it by name.

Our process
How we approach steam cleaning
- 01
Site assessment & quote
We inspect the surface, identify what's actually causing the staining, then send a written fixed-price quote with inclusions spelled out. No vague hourly rates.
- 02
Set up & protection
Gardens, fittings, drains and adjoining surfaces are protected before a drop of water is used. Access, hoses and leads are run so the site stays safe and tidy.
- 03
Treat, then clean
Organic growth is chemically treated first so it dies at the root, then we clean at the correct pressure and temperature for the substrate.
- 04
Waste water capture
Our Clean & Capture system vacuums waste water to a holding tank as we work, so nothing contaminated enters the stormwater system.
- 05
Final walk-through
We walk the job with you (or send photo documentation for commercial and strata clients) and only pack up once you're satisfied.
Real results
Results you can see from the street
Treatment first, then correct pressure for the substrate. That's the whole trick — and it's why the result lasts.

Why choose us
Serious equipment, correct method, no guesswork
Exterior cleaning done badly damages render, strips coatings and cracks tiles. Here's how we avoid all three.
On the tools since 1998
Not a franchise and not a call centre. You deal with the same small crew that turns up and does the work.

Clean & Capture waste water
Waste water is vacuumed and recovered as we clean, so nothing contaminated enters the stormwater system. It also lets us clean indoors.
Right method for the surface
Soft washing for render, coatings and roofs. Correct-pressure cleaning for concrete and masonry. Steam where heat beats pressure.
Treatment, not just a rinse
Mould and lichen are killed at the root before anything is rinsed, which roughly doubles how long the result lasts.
Fixed written quotes
Scope and inclusions in writing before we start. No hourly creep, no surprises on the invoice.
FAQs
Steam Cleaning — common questions
Is steam cleaning better than pressure cleaning?
It's better for grease, gum, sanitation and fragile surfaces. Plain high pressure is still more efficient over large areas of sound concrete. We pick per surface, and often use both on the same site.
Can steam remove chewing gum?
Yes — it's the most effective method there is. Heat softens the gum so it lifts cleanly without gouging the surface.
Is it safe on sandstone and heritage brick?
Yes, which is exactly why we use it there. Heat does the work at a pressure that won't erode soft mortar or spall old brick.
Can you steam clean indoors?
Yes. Low water volume plus waste water capture makes indoor and occupied-building cleaning practical.
