- Waste water management — capture and legal disposal is a real cost on commercial sites
- Water and power availability — tanks and generators change the set-up
- Timing — after-hours and night work carries a premium

A quote well under everyone else's is usually missing something specific.
- No mention of how waste water will be handled
- No safe-work or site protection plan offered
- A single pressure setting quoted for render, roof and driveway alike
- Roof work priced without any inspection of pointing, tiles or valleys
- Hourly rates with no cap and no defined scope
- No treatment stage — just a wash-off, which won't last
Where spending more genuinely pays
Treatment rather than a hose-off, because it roughly doubles the interval before the surface looks dirty again. Sealing, because it makes every future clean cheaper. And correct method selection, because the cost of repairing damaged render or stripped paint dwarfs the saving on the clean.
